DOG BOARDING FAQ
1.What vaccines do dogs need to board?
We require Rabies, DHPP (Distemper), and Bordetella vaccines to keep everyone healthy. Please bring your dog's official vet records (no handwritten ones). This protects all the dogs staying with us!
2.Do dogs need to be on leashes?
Yes please! All dogs must arrive and leave on leash. It keeps everyone safe during drop-off and pick-up. Once they're checked in, they can run and play on our secure country property.
3.What should I bring for my dog?
Bring your dog's regular food (helps avoid tummy upset from diet changes), any medications (with clear instructions), a washable blanket or bed, and a couple favorite toys.
Food tip: Put food in Tupperware containers or labeled baggies with your dog's name. Makes feeding super easy!
Skip anything super special since toys can get misplaced during all the excitement.
4. Do I need to bring food for my dog?
We do recommend bringing your dog’s regular food so they can stay on their normal diet while they’re here. This can help prevent tummy upset during their stay. Please pack food in Tupperware containers or labeled baggies with your dog’s name. If needed, we can also provide food (Country Vet Naturals) for $5/day.
5. What if my dog needs medication?
Don't worry—we're happy to help! We'll give pills, eye drops, ear treatments, or any meds your dog needs. Just send medications in their original containers clearly labeled with your dog's name and dosage instructions.
6. What extra services do you offer?
We have fun add-ons to spoil your pup:
Nature Walks $15
Nail Trims $10
Ear Cleaning $10
Frozen Stuffed Kongs $5
7. What are your drop-off and pick-up hours?
We're super flexible right now to work around your travel schedule! Just give us a call ahead of time and we'll make it work. Keep in mind we might move to set hours in the future, so feel free to check back for any updates.
8. What happens at pick-up?
Payment is due when you arrive to pick up. Current payment options: Cash, check, Venmo, or Cash App—due at pickup. Once our office and main kennel building are complete, we'll happily accept all major credit cards too! We'll make sure you have all your dog's belongings (food containers, medications, toys, blankets) and answer any questions you have. Please double-check everything before leaving to ensure nothing is missed!
9. What if I'm running late to pick up?
Just let us know! Travel delays happen—we totally get it. We're flexible when we can be, but a heads-up helps us plan our day.
